Processing and Analysis of Gaofen-7 Satellite Full Waveform Laser Range Data

  • Mentor: Mi WANG
  • Systematic academic research on processing satellite full waveform laser range data (ICESat/GLAS, Gaofen-7, etc.)
  • Compare the lidar waveform characters on different land covers by data statistics and analysis
  • Extract elevation control points from Gaofen-7 laser altimetry data that are used for integrated stereo mapping

  • In-orbit geometric calibration of Gaofen-7 satellite laser altimeter
  • Download, visualize, analyze, mosaic, and grid diverse remote sensing data products (including Landsat 8 level 1, SRTM-DEM, ALOS-DSM, US 3DEP 1 meter DEM, ICESat-2 ATL08, etc.)
